About our Registered Nursing Program:

The School of Nursing (SON) was established in 1894
Cooperative program with Union County College was established in 1971
Currently 420 students enrolled in SON - part time and full time


94.32% of 2010 graduates passed the NCLEX (registered nurse certifying exam) administered by the State of New Jersey (and nationally as well)
100% of graduates are employed in nursing


Graduates earn a Diploma in Nursing from the JFK Snyder Schools and an Associate in Science Degree from Union County College
Full articulation with Kean University and Wagner College
Credit transfers to other BSN programs
4 tracks, all leading to registered nurse licensure, are offered: Generic, Accelerated, LPN to RN Transition and Pathways to BSN
